The Compare ITAD Marketplace is built around that reality: a structured RFP process where verified ITAD vendors compete for real deals, and every step is documented.

The asset owner posts a requirement.
A structured requirement — not a classified ad. Asset categories, quantities, location, data-security requirements, inspection access, and bidding deadline are captured up front, so vendors bid on facts instead of guessing from photos.

Verified ITAD vendors submit bids.
Only Compare ITAD Verified vendors can bid. Every bid carries the vendor's verification status and credentials — certifications, facilities, and service capabilities drawn from the same directory records you already use for vendor selection.

Bids are compared on a mediated surface.
Compare ITAD's editorial team reviews submissions and presents them side by side: price, timeline, credentials, and service package. The asset owner selects a winning bid with the full picture in view.

The selected bid enters an inspection period.
Physical inspection is a first-class step, not an afterthought. The winning vendor inspects the assets in person before the commitment becomes firm. A material discrepancy triggers renegotiation or withdrawal — before money moves.

The transaction closes in escrow.
Funds are escrow-protected through Stripe and released as the deal completes. Chain-of-custody documentation and certificates of destruction are attached to the transaction record, and disputes are mediated by Compare ITAD's editorial team.
